Health, Inc. is the home of the RecoveryWorks Resource
Center. We provide current information related to vocational
rehabilitation for individuals with chemical dependency
disorders, their family members and behavioral health
treatment providers.
The objectives of RecoveryWorks are:
- To educate chemical dependency treatment providers,
clients and family members about best practices related
to vocational planning and employment.
- To provide information of agencies that assist individuals
to rapidly access assistance in preparing for work
and finding employment.
- To provide educational and career development information.
The RecoveryWorks Resource Center values client choice,
rapid attachment to vocational planning, work and career
development, as well as post employment support. We
support the research finding that gainful employment
is one of the best predictors of successful substance
abuse treatment. We advocate for greater integration
of vocational and treatment services for individuals
with chemical dependency disorders.
